Cinderella Blue
First on the list of trendy fashion attire for Spring 2024 is sky blue, also known as icy blue or Cinderella blue.
This color showed itself numerous times on the runway during the SS24 fashion shows across Milan, Paris, New York, and London, and I couldn’t be happier.
Here are the top 10 spring fashion trends of 2024 that you NEED to have on your radar! Share on XAs a girl who already could use more pops of color in her wardrobe, seeing all these gorgeous looks down the runway gave me a newfound love for this baby blue, Cinderella-esque color.
Be on the lookout for some pieces in this shade of blue the next time you’re shopping. It’s the perfect shade for this upcoming pastel-filled spring season that you will want to have in your closet and the perfect hue to pair with an elegant easter theme manicure for some extra festiveness.
Preppy Aesthetic
The preppy aesthetic has returned this spring, and I’m here for all the schoolgirl vibes.
This is the season to bring out your button-downs, collared tops, stripes, pleated skirts, and loafers and recreate the ultimate Gossip Girl outfit.
This spring season, I will definitely have to invest in some adorable tennis apparel; they exude everything about the preppy aesthetic.
During SS24, the runway featured collared tops and more prep-school attire. Brands included MGSM, Alberta Ferretti, Louis Vuitton, Aaron Esh, and, of course, much more that would certainly be too many to name.
The next time you’re shopping, try channeling your inner Harvard student and create a look inspired by this spring’s prep aesthetic.
Blooming Roses
We can’t possibly have a spring without adding floral prints to our wardrobe. With the new trend of rose-printed apparel, the SS24 runway was oozing with that feminine floral aura.
I was never one to really like florals. However, seeing some of these outstanding designs from SS24 has most certainly changed my outlook.

Palomo Spain’s Cruising In The Rose Garden collection for SS24 was breathtaking and perfectly embodied what spring and fashion represent.
The rise in fashion florals has also resulted from the new “girl-core” trend going viral across social media platforms.
This spring, girls are in their full feminine era. Stop and smell the roses and consider adding some floral and rose-printed pieces to your closet for this upcoming spring and summer season.
Metallic Mania
Was Beyoncé’s Renaissance era what made metallics so famous over the past year? Because they sure have been everywhere! And rightfully so. It’s one of this year’s hottest picks for spring and can be paired with almost anything.
I’ve yet to jump on the metallic bandwagon, but I spotted many sexy and stylish pieces while doing light window shopping. Metallic dresses, shorts, even cowgirl boots, which have been another trendy item recently…all thanks to the Queen B, of course, and in many different colors.
Naomi Campbell looked absolutely ravishing in this silver metallic gown by Alexander McQueen for SS24 and on some of the stars during the recent Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards.
It was hard to narrow it down to several suggestions, but look at some of these stellar metallic pieces.
Spectacular Sheers
Sheer has been all the rave for this upcoming Spring season.
We saw lots of airy and see-through garments on the runways during the spring and summer 2024 fashion shows. From looks by Givenchy, Acne, and Louise Trotter for the Carven collection, as well as during the recent 96th annual Oscar Awards red carpet, which, if you have yet to have seen some of the gorgeous stars of the night and their takes on SS24 fashion, take a look here.
But do not fear! You don’t have to be entirely nude to wear a sheer dress for springtime.
You can always start with a dress with sheer draping, some sheer-style socks, and a sheer top for layering; the possibilities can be endless.
During my window shopping, I gathered some of my favorite sheer pieces that would go well with the other spring fashion trends in this article.
The Office Siren
A siren is a woman is someone who taps into their inner feminine seductive side, embodies total sexiness, and is a magnet to anything and anyone she desires. The siren woman loves the person she is, knows what she wants and gets it, and is passionate about using her charm and beauty to her advantage.
The idea of a siren woman and how to become one has been a viral topic on TikTok and has even developed its own aesthetic, known as the “Office Siren.” Basically, a boss woman in everyday workwear with some sex appeal.
I love this spring 2024 fashion trend because it encourages women’s empowerment.
The “Office-Siren” look consists of blazers, pleated trousers, pantsuits, pretty pumps, and…well, hopefully, you got the gist. Relinquish your inner siren this spring with a few of these pieces as your office-siren inspiration.
90’s Shoulder Bags
As we all know, fashion has also repeated itself, similar to history.
We’ve now got the return of the Y2K aesthetic, and flappers are back; in case you weren’t aware, there’s also the latest “Mob Wife” aesthetic, and we also have the return of the ’90s shoulder bag.
I’m sure if you haven’t been living under a rock for the past 365 days, you may have seen an influx in the classic 90’s shoulder bags across social media from designers like the Coach Pillow Tabby shoulder bag to maybe even a Saint Laurent Le 5 À 7 Mini.
The ’90s shoulder bag has returned to the world of fashion trends because of the new “Clean-Girl” aesthetic, all about simplicity and thriving in one’s femininity, and you can quickly jump on this aesthetic bandwagon!
Check out a few of your local thrift stores or some of my favorite finds below.
Classic White Dress
You can never, ever, and I mean literally never, go wrong with a solid white dress.
White dresses can be the perfect outfit addition for any formal or casual spring occasion, so it’s great that they’re still in style and part of the spring 2024 fashion trends this year.
White is a color that embodies freshness, cleanliness, and simplicity, all things that relate to spring.
We saw lots of white dresses during the fashion shows across Milan, Paris, New York, and London this year from gorgeous high-end designers, a few being Jacquemus, Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood, Givenchy, and Jonny Johansson for Acne.
With a solid white dress for spring this season, you can use it to layer with if you’re feeling extra creative; pair it with some ice blue peep-toe sandals or a matching 90s-inspired shoulder bag, maybe even a lightweight trench and your latest adorable easter nail mani.
The solid white dress is just so versatile that it would be impossible not to want to snag this staple for yourself this spring season.
Pretty Primaries
Spring is the most colorful time of year, and what better way to embody all that spring brings than with some pretty primary colors? On this year’s SS24 runway, we saw so many poppin’ colors from designers such as
Spring is this most colorful time of the year. Bring out the bold because pops of colors and bright hues are totally in this spring season!
And rightfully so, too! Nothing says spring and summer more than a vibrant color-filled outfit.
At the SS24 fashion shows, we saw some gorgeous, colorful looks created by big-name fashion brands like Zimmermann, Filippo Fior, Max Mara, and Versace. From bold blues, ravishing reds, gorgeous greens, and youthful yellows.
Whether you choose to go for a monochromatic look or a color-blocked outfit, consider adding some pretty primaries to your spring wardrobe this season with a few of these hot spring-time trends-approved picks.
Trench Coat Season
We can’t have gorgeous spring flowers without some April showers, and trench coats can be just what your outfit needs to stay on trend during these upcoming dreary spring days.
With one of the many spring fashion trends this year being the preppy girl aesthetic and the rise of the “Quiet-Luxury” look, I’m not surprised that trench coats were on the list, and I am thrilled for their return this season!
Trench coats make for a practical staple piece in your closet, and we spotted many of them down the various runways for SS24.
Whether the look was more formal or casual, from designers like Jacquemus to Balenciaga and LaPointe. Revisit this springtime weather-proof staple item and consider adding a long dramatic trench to your wardrobe for the upcoming new season.
By incorporating the latest spring trends into your wardrobe, you can effortlessly exude a modern and stylish look.
Embracing your unique personal style is the key to making these trends your own.
